Our Services

We offer flexible driving lessons designed to meet every need, from beginner training programs to road test prep and hourly refreshers. Whether you're just starting out or brushing up before your G2 or G test, our certified instructors are here to support you. With personalized packages and a community first approach, we're committed to helping every student feel confident behind the wheel.

• 30 hours of online independent study covering rules of the road, defensive driving strategies, and safe driving habits.
• 10 hours of one-on-one in-car lessons with a certified instructor, focused on practical driving skills and road test preparation.
• MTO-approved certification, uploaded directly to the Ministry of Transportation system.
• G2 road test eligibility after 8 months (instead of the standard 12) upon course completion.
• Potential insurance savings, as many providers offer up to 20% discounts for BDE graduates.
• Flexible scheduling options, with training tailored to beginners, refresher students, and those preparing for their final test

Total Cost: $950 + HST (before Grand Opening Discount)

Includes everything in the Basic BDE Course
Includes an additional one-hour in-car mock road test that simulates the official driving test, scheduled 1–3 weeks before your driving test, plus a refresher lesson on test day to boost confidence and readiness
Transportation to and from the DriveTest Centre on test day

At Northern Star Driving Academy, our mission is to prepare local youth for their G2 and G road tests through safe, confident, and flexible driver training. By bringing high quality driver education directly to our communities, we reduce the need for long drives to other towns and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
